jWic was donated to the open source community and we emphasize that jWic and especially this site is non-commercial. However, experience has shown that open source technology is becoming more important in enterprise IT-strategies. Due to the benefits gained like lower cost of ownership, a variety of resources being able to work with this technology and less marketing camouflage (and therefore more fact-based), open source technology is becoming a serious player on the market place.
Beyond the contact to the open source community and the mailing-list, for companies wishing to use jWic applications to support critical processes in an enterprise environment, it would be important to be able to rely on professional services for those projects.
